LMI is seeking a Security Specialist to support our DHS customer at Fort Detrick, MD. This position will be responsible for providing access control system support and assisting in the management of a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) in coordination with the federal Special Security Officer (SSO). The position duties include various security disciplines: administrative security, personnel security, physical security, information security/classification management, and security education and training. This position requires an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities
Support access control in a laboratory environment; program, update, and administrate Lenel OnGuard access control system
Validate all forms requiring security clearance/access data
Conduct SCI indoctrinations and security awareness trainings to include site-specific instructions/localized security briefings
Validate SCIF access rosters
Prepare for SCIF compliance audit
Conduct SCIF inspections
Report initial security incidents to the SSO and complete proper forms
Complete authorizations and request forms for SSO approval
Conduct or ensure SCI refresher training is accomplished annually
Provide classification management and derivative classification guidance
Ensure documentation control
Conduct system tests and walkthroughs
Certify incoming/outgoing visit requests
Support CDC Inspection processes for Biological Select Agents and Toxins (BSAT)
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field
5+ years of relevant experience in a high-level facility security environment
Access control experience; Lenel experience is preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Introduction
Loudoun County Animal Services is looking for a new humane law enforcement officer (HLEO) to join our expanding team. Our officers receive comprehensive training (both classroom and in-field), take-home vehicles, competitive pay, exceptional benefits (including ongoing training, tuition reimbursement and pension) and support from a community of over 440,000 residents.
The humane law enforcement team works within the department of Animal Services to provide comprehensive responses to calls that include dogs running at large, routine investigations, complex felonies, wildlife rescue, animal hoarding, technical large animal rescue (of livestock) and much, much more.
Job Summary
The Humane Law Enforcement team responds to over 5,000 annual calls for service, resolving the majority of these cases with education and positive outcomes, while maintaining a monthly court schedule, in which more serious and complex cases are presented and prosecuted. Officers work with the Animal Services sheltering and veterinary teams to collect forensic evidence and work towards comprehensive resolutions to animal welfare matters in Loudoun County. Our HLEOs are armed, sworn, and an integral part of our community, as we focus on providing compassionate animal rescue, intake, and law enforcement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with companion animals and livestock is essential. Prefer some experience with exotics and wildlife.

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Humane Law Enforcement is a physically demanding occupation with the potential for exposure to infectious diseases, viruses, noxious fumes and chemicals, as well as risk of injury. A rabies pre-exposure vaccination series will commence immediately upon hire unless proof of prior vaccination is provided.
Must have the ability to handle large and potentially dangerous animals over 100 pounds.
Candidate will become a sworn Humane Law Enforcement Officer and will complete state mandated animal control training.
Must obtain certification in euthanasia within six months of employment. Candidate will also be required to obtain certifications in CPR, First Aid, Incident Command System 100 & 200, and qualifications to use authorized firearms.
The successful candidate will undergo criminal, fingerprint, credit, and DMV background checks as well as physical examination, to include a drug screening and psychological exam. You will be the face of Industrial Security for assigned programs, directly interfacing with program personnel daily to align security objectives with mission success.
This position reports directly to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and functionally aligns to the Raytheon GSS Industrial Security Center of Excellence. What You Will Do
Ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), DD Form 254 contract security requirements, and related directives across multiple programs.
Participate in both internal Raytheon and customer-based security inspections, audits, and self-assessments.
Perform physical security reviews of secure areas to ensure compliance with all government requirements.
Develop, maintain, and review security documentation to include Standard Practices and Procedures in support of DoD classified operations.
Support document control functions as they relate to media control, accountability, classification marking, storage, and outgoing/incoming classified shipments.
Support the Security Awareness Training and Education program with development, implementation of security related training and events.
Assist with visitor management system through use of internal Raytheon databases along with the processing of visits within the Defense Industrial Security System.
Perform duties as the Top-Secret Control Officer with oversight of all Top-Secret material stored on site.
Assist in COMSEC accountability, safeguarding, and processing of material. Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
Respond to alarm activations, investigate to ascertain status of area, and work to ensure area remains in compliance.
Collaborate with and assist the ISSO/ISSM on implementation of information assurance requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment.
Other duties may be added as needed to support program execution.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minmum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
2 years' experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military, or government information security programs
Experience implementing 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
Qualifications We Prefer
Completed related training and/or certification with CDSE courses with emphasis on the FSO core curriculum courses to support DoD
Experience conducting investigations of security incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to mitigate future risk.

Provide patient and staff Public Safety and safety stand by for terminations, TDO hearings. Escorts disgruntled individuals from the building or property.
