This role will be responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customer and all visitors. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Plant Security Monitor all traffic in and out of the plant, both on foot and by vehicle. Ensure each person entering the Guardhouse has a positive experience. Theft prevention including searching personal effects, vehicles and equipment. Closely monitor all CCTV equipment for all locations. Make regular rounds throughout the facility checking for any hazards or intruders. Operate and monitor the central communication system. Schedule is for 2nd shift, with 12-hour shifts on alternating weekends Emergency Response Respond to all emergency notifications. Take action as needed or confirm false alarms. If necessary, contact EMS or Police and direct/escort them to the proper locations. Provide basic first aid as needed. Inspections and Documentation Perform monthly inspections on all facility fire extinguishers.
