Summary:

Requirements
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen

May require a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (CGS-Kosovo can sponsor new clearances)
Have two (2) years' experience in armed security, armed law enforcement, or have performed operations within the Armed Forces, civilian police or commercial security while armed within the past 10 years
Must have completed a State recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or the completion of an armed forces security or law enforcement training program. (Verification of training, such as a training certificate/s or DD214 (honorable discharge) must be provided)
Have a current/active U.S. Passport
Be willing to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background report to include fingerprints. Must have a clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses
Must have experience and knowledge of security operations
Must have experience with basic force protection
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be medically fit and undergo medical testing
Must pass a Physical Ability Test (to include - run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and 21 pushups in two minutes). This is strictly enforced, and exceptions or waivers will not be allowed
Must be willing to undergo random drug testing upon request
Regular working hours are 48 hours per week. Due to the nature of the proposed employment, the employee may work on different schedules on different days of the week as assigned by a supervisor and may also be required to work additional hours beyond scheduled time
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
The candidate must maintain the necessary physical fitness to ensure accomplishment of assigned missions. This includes guard duties under local types of weather and terrain. The candidate must meet all physical and medical requirements as dictated by the U.S. Government client's contract.

The part-time Unarmed SecurityGuard is responsible for providing vigilant, static security services at key locations such as courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value areas. The role focuses on securing all access points and safeguarding property and residents with keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. 1. Preparation and Security

2. Slot Machine Collections
Collect cash and tickets from slot machines in accordance with the organization's schedule and procedures.
Use the proper collection cart or secured bag for transporting cash and other assets.
Record slot machine numbers and the amounts collected accurately in a log or collection system.
Ensure all slot machines are securely locked after collection.
3. Cash Handling
Follow standard counting procedures in a secured count room to reconcile amounts collected with system records.
Operate cash counting machines or manual counting processes with precision and care.
Bundle and record currency and tickets according to company standards.
Verify and report any discrepancies between expected and actual cash amounts immediately.
4. Compliance and Documentation
Adhere to all gaming commission regulations and organizational policies for handling cash and financial assets.
Complete and sign required documentation for accountability, including cash reconciliation forms and transfer logs.
Report suspicious activities, such as tampering with slot machines or irregularities in cash amounts, to a supervisor immediately.
5. Security and Fraud Prevention
Maintain confidentiality regarding all cash amounts, machine contents, and internal processes.
Be vigilant for signs of fraud, theft, or tampering during the collection process.
Handle cash and tickets in a manner that prevents loss, theft, or damage.
Have situational awareness at all time.
Move quickly in transitional spaces.
6. Customer Interaction
Maintain a professional demeanor while working in public areas.
Politely direct customers with questions about slot machines to the appropriate staff or departments.
7. Team Collaboration
Coordinate with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient cash handling operations.
Participate in regular training on cash handling procedures, security protocols, and compliance updates.
8. Reporting and Escalation
Immediately report equipment malfunctions, shortages, overages, or security concerns to the appropriate authority.
Provide detailed incident reports when required.

Job Summary
Responsible for providing support to Public Safety operations at CW facilities. Essential Functions
- Patrols (by foot) assigned areas of facilities and grounds according to established schedule and investigates unusual occurrences. Performs parking enforcement related duties, to include, but not limited to, operating parking equipment, greeting, welcoming and directing customers.
- Investigates and writes incident reports on a wide variety of security-related incidents including but not limited to; crimes committed on the property, injuries sustained on the property, actual or potential loss of hospital, employee, patient, or visitor property through fire, theft, damage, or vandalism. Obtains evidence related to the incident and interviews victims, witnesses, and suspects.
- Assists Public Safety Dispatchers working in Communication Center as needed, and dispatches appropriate personnel to perform security assignments. Answers hospital emergency line (88) and directs personnel appropriately. Monitors various cameras and alarm systems. Answers intercom and elevator calls for assistance promptly and professionally. Performs parking enforcement related duties, to include, but not limited to, operating parking equipment, greeting, welcoming and directing customers.
- Responds to emergency situations of various types. Responses may include activities such as crowd control, disturbance resolution, verbal and physical intervention, firefighting duties, combative and/or disruptive patients, and other activities of a similar nature, including subsequent appearances in court, hearings, or chambers, as requested.
- Performs Weapon Screening services at designated locations to prevent weapons and other prohibited property from entering Children's property. Secures property/evidence as needed and/or directed. Liaison with MRMC Campus Public Safety/Security departments and local law enforcement. Performs security inspection tours and notifies appropriate personnel of problems, as necessary.
- Questions or detains suspicious individuals or criminal violators on CW leased and/or owned properties. Restrains disorderly, combative, or injurious individuals according to established training standards as necessary to prevent imminent harm to self or others.
- Badges and/or screens visitors per the visitation policy. Determines guest destination and/or transportation needs. Provides precise way finding. Directs and/or escorts employees, staff, visitors, clients and patients to all areas of hospital, clinic, grounds, facilities, etc. Conducts traffic control functions as needed. Provides basic hospital information services, including being assigned to a Welcome Center.
- Maintains current knowledge of CW policy and procedures and department Standards of Work (SOW) through regular and timely independent review of internal communication including emails, Newsbreak and attendance at relevant meetings.
Education:
- High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required
- Post high school coursework in criminal justice or equivalent field of study preferred
Experience:
- 1+ years Experience in customer service. required
- 1+ years Experience as a uniformed security officer in healthcare security, public safety, corporate security, law enforcement, and/or military service. preferred
- 1+ years Experience performing weapon screening. preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to successfully complete all required introductory and annual competency training processes.
- Ability to read and write in order to review and complete required incident reports and perform various recordkeeping activities.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary in order to effectively interact with a variety of hospital employees, staff and visitors, sometimes under potentially stressful situations.
- Intermediate computer skills in order to utilize current and future equipment and systems (PC software applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Epic hospital software application, CAD, Incident Reporting, Surveillance Systems, Weapon Screening, etc.)
- Analytical skills necessary in order to inspect, respond and manage emergent situations, hospital areas, ensure safety and security of all hospital staff, visitors and patients, and prepare, incident reports, missing property reports, etc.
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain all testing requirements under the Physical Capacity Exam (PCE).
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain all department training requirements in physical/verbal intervention and control technique program, use of typical security/law enforcement duty equipment (baton, handcuffs, etc.) and clinical violent restraint devises.
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain all training requirements in the Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP).
- Currently certified or ability to successfully complete IAHSS Basic certification within 6 months of hire or promotion
- Currently certified or ability to successfully complete department training in Defensive Tactics for Security (DTS) within 3 months of hire or promotion
Licenses and Certifications:
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council within 90 Days required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures that the security needs of the clinics are properly addressed and responded to. Identifies potential safety concerns and effectively recommends corrective or preventative measures. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.\
Supports an environment conducive to the development and enhancement of working relationships. Facilitates the department/clinic ability to meet its goal and objectives. Responsive to the needs of the department by accepting additional assignments and/or assisting others to ensure the continuity of services.
Effectively uses work time to accomplish assignments within expected time frames. The ability to except or respond to change in a manner that promotes and supports departmental/clinic goals and objectives.
Knowledgeable of and follows safety/infection control policies and other procedures to ensure a safe environment for self and others. Addresses potential safety concerns related to equipment and the working environment.
