Our Security Officers screen patients and visitors, patrol corridors, investigate suspicious activity, respond to emergencies, provide general information to our visitors, and promote good community relations. An Albany Medical Center Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the peace in the hospital and working closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement to ensure the safety of the Albany Medical Center community.
