Educations/Requirements/Skills: • Bachelor's in design with a focus in Advertising, Communications, or Marketing. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a design role or a related field. • Fluent in Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Presentation software power user • Animation skills not required but strongly desired • In-depth knowledge of design principles, branding, and industry trends. • Strong conceptual and visual storytelling skills, with an exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of campaign work. • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design. • Ability to balance big-picture creative thinking with hands-on design execution. • Strong project management skills and ability to function as project leader influencing others as well as individual contributor.     The Designer II will perform conceptual and detailed design services for various substation engineering projects, with moderate supervision. This position will work within a staff of engineers, designers, and specialists on a wide variety of engineering design tasks, from the request for project estimation through construction and record update. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform substation design tasks, develop design drawings and documents, prepare material lists, perform field reviews, and other tasks for projects. Prepare substation related drawings such as one lines, plan views, electrical assemblies, structural details, foundation details, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other engineering drawings. Apply all relevant client, national, and state standards when applicable. Perform calculations, reports, and designs on substation projects to support engineers.
