They help maintain order throughout the shift and provide direction in the absence of the shift lead. At minimum, do a weekly inventory count to ensure supplies are not running low and report the count to the Finance Dept. Hold yourself and other staff accountable for supply usage to ensure we are not using supplies wastefully. Monitor supplies throughout your shift including bathrooms, stations, etc. to ensure they are adequate. As an assistant lead, you may be asked to do one or all of these responsibilities depending on the needs of the facility and the availability of other staff Qualifications & Key Skills Minimum 2 years' experience in Human Services or a similar field. Previous experience working with the homeless population in a shelter environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of domestic violence, mental health, and substance abuse issues.
