The role involves coordinating train movements, verifying inventory, operating various types of heavy equipment, and overall housekeeping of the facility. The employee will assist in the Yard/Rail, Transload, and Reefer department as needed. Essential Responsibilities: Facilitate train and cargo movement by executing management instructions and communicating effectively with the RMG team. Perform daily housekeeping tasks. Verify train inventory and document container information using tablets and multiple systems. Receive and execute train switching instructions from operations. Complete outbound paperwork for each train. Install or remove twist lock cones between containers on trains. Assist drivers when backing containers into the hoop conveyor.
