SUMMARY
Assures proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.
* Report stock discrepancies to manager daily.
* Inspect shipments at loading and unloading for damage and quantity daily. Stock all parts in correct bin and/or location and in saleable conditions daily.
* Check in all UPS/Gm/gm parts in a timely fashion daily.
* Package and ship return to vendors in a timely fashion.
* Write up core returns, damage claims (659 claim), shortage(PC31), and overage(PC31) claims daily.
* Assign new parts to bins that don't have assigned locations daily.
* Control all special and emergency orders by tagging and notify appropriate person daily.
* Maintain bins, racks, and other equipment and notify management of needed repairs daily.
* Maintain accurate UPS/FedEx shipping records daily.
* Secure building at close daily.
* Count all parts that are delivered from UPS/FedEx and verify, count, and sign for them daily.
* When checking in GM parts delivery in the morning, the following procedure is to be done daily.
1. Verify that the part number on the parts tag matches the part number on the box.
2. Verify the quantity of parts received matches the quantity of parts on the packing slip.
* Assist parts drivers in loading and unloading parts to and from the parts trucks for deliveries daily.
* Responsible for all loading and unloading of items requiring the use of the fork truck.
* Stocks and posts incoming orders.
* Notifies appropriate parties when special order parts arrive.
* Returns parts as needed and removes from inventory after credit is received.
* Returns cores in a timely manner and follows up for receipt of credit.
* Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.
* Assists in annual parts returns.
* Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered.
* Maintains professional appearance. Maintain a high level of grooming, shaven and uniform appearance daily.

Serves as back-up for parts manager for inventory functions.
Matches purchase orders and invoices, approves, and forwards to accounting office.

Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Technician is responsible for assisting in the positioning of inventory by daily safe grain loading and unloading of trucks and railcar.
Schedule:
2-2-3 Shift, 4:50PM to 5:00AM
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
As a Shipping & Receiving Technician, there is mandatory attendance during our bi-annual preventative maintenance shutdowns. On occasion, some position specific trainings may occur outside of the typical work schedule listed.
Compensation:
Position starts at $19.20 an hour, with an additional night shift premium of $1.50 an hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physically monitor the receiving/loading process to ensure proper flow.
Safely operate various heavy equipment used to transfer material, product, and rail cars.
Assist in coordinating inbound soybean receiving activities and segregation of product.
Verifies loading instructions and paperwork to ensure accurate loading of product.
Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, process aids, and packaging materials relevant to department. Inspects interior for cleanliness and exterior for leaks or damage.
Take samples of products, analyze quality, and record resulting test data.
Maintain logs and follow preventative maintenance activities and records.
Make necessary physical adjustments to meet desired operating parameters.
Notify Supervisor or Management of operational or food safety concerns.

Position Summary:
The driver/shipping technician position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. This involves packaging parts for shipment, inspect and unload incoming shipments, and maintaining documentation. This position is also responsible for some local deliveries, and will require the employee to obtain a chauffeur's license.

Complete job documentation
Package and label parts for shipping and communicate shortages of parts
Inspect and unload incoming shipments, refuse bad items, inform shipper to replace damaged items and correct shortages
Maintain inventory in manufacturing software
Occasionally assist with local delivery
Load and secure parts
Meet and exceed customer expectations
Quote shipments
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, vocational training (logistics)
Credentials: Clean driving record required. Forklift operator's license preferred, chauffer's license required.
Experience: At least 1 year related experience

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Ability to use precision measurement tools
Position Type and Expected Hours:
