Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator/Driver Reports To: Plant Manager Shift: M-F, 6:30a-3p The Warehouse Driver is responsible for supporting day-to-day departmental operations, performing assigned warehouse and transportation activities, and adhering to established safety and quality standards, including accurate cycle counts and inventory reconciliation. Ensure all pallets/boxes have the correct label/pallet tag, are properly corner-boarded, banded, wrapped, and weighed in preparation for shipment. Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Plant Manager. Receive and process all defective material returned for replacement or credit. Ensure forklifts are in good working condition and make sure forklift inspections are being done regularly. Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklift, motor vehicle, hydraulic cart, pallet jack, etc., to move and stage materials and maintain the flow of production. Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Utilize Microsoft Outlook to check email to keep up to date on communication and issues and update staff members as necessary.
