Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in daily verbal and non-verbal communication activities, as well as augmentative communication activities
Teach children, parents, and caregivers adaptive and purposeful ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
Assess clients using a variety of tools, assess client's home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities in order to maximize their communication opportunities
Recommend oral-motor and other adaptive tools and equipment (i.e. augmentative communication software, etc.) and train caregivers in its use

We're Growing! Come join our Meta Store Retail team in West Hollywood, CA as we bring Meta AI glasses and wearables along with Meta Quest mixed-reality products to life! As a Meta Experience Expert, you will deliver a best-in-class, white glove experience through immersive, hands-on demos of cutting-edge wearable & mixed reality technology. You will be the face of our client's brand while educating consumers and converting demos to new customer acquisitions. Our ideal candidate is tech-savvy with high attention to detail, exemplary communication skills, and obsessed with world-class customer service.
You will be working 15-20 hours per week, night & weekend availability required. Regular store hours are 10am-7pm. Must have availability for on-and off-site events, including occasional shifts outside of regular store hours.

What You'll Do
Be a subject matter expert! Fully understand the features and benefits of our client's products including accessories
Conduct world-class demonstrations of our clients' mixed reality and wearable products within the dedicated space by creating immersive experiences with consumers that influence how they play, learn & experience the world around them
Process consumer transactions using our clients Point of Sale (POS) system
Achieve all goals and key performance indicators; in partnership with the Retail Manager, develop action plans when targets are not met
Perform day to day operations, including but not limited to; opening and closing procedures and maintain interactive customer displays
Show up on time with a can-do attitude, ready to support team goals and daily operations.

What You'll Bring
Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of customer-facing experience in premium retail
Proven experience in presentation, public speaking, and/or storytelling
Skills and Attributes:
Exemplary interpersonal communication, soft skills, written, verbal and on camera
Ability to leverage advanced customer service and industry-related experience to engage with consumers
Must be results and detail-oriented
Must be extremely tech-savvy and passionate about technology
Ability to ask effective questions and be an active listener
High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn

Schedule client's appointments with the psychiatrist, Dietician, EMDR therapist, etc., send the zoom link to the 3rd party, and ensure the client is in the room ready for the appointment at the designated time.
Must be available on an as needed basis during non-standard business hours, due to the 24-hour residential facility requirements.
Provide training and supervision of clients to support non-clinical staff as it relates to detox and medication protocols.
Measures and records clients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
Perform inventory check and maintenance of nursing supplies and OTC medication supplies.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and CARF standards.
Fully understand and maintain policies & procedures regarding professional ethics, confidentiality, and healthy boundaries.
Fully understand our medication management policy and infection control protocol.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with Medical Assisted Treatment (MAT) and/or Detox.
Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
Required Education & Experience:
Current & active Licensed Vocational Nurse certification.
Current driver's license, current automobile insurance, and clean DMV report.
Two-year minimum experience working in a mental health treatment setting preferred.
Experience with KIPU (EMR) is a plus.
