The successful candidate will have a solid background within Underground Utility work, including overseeing the operation, maintenance, construction, and efficiency of utility systems, such as water, sanitary sewer, electrical, or gas services. Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements for noise and dust control, non-interruption of Government activities, and utility shutdown procedures; promote and enforce safety policies; have a solid understanding of site safety, health, and substance abuse programs to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel at the jobsite, address basic questions from employees, and/or know where to direct jobsite personnel to get their questions answered. Check equipment to monitor for abuse, neglect, repairs and utilization; work with Equipment Manager to make recommendations on new and additional equipment needs. Interface with Owner's representatives to ensure that overall progress on the jobs meets their expectations and demands. Qualifications High school education required.
