This urgent position involves overseeing a $40 million project in Manassas, VA, ensuring timely and high-standard completion. Responsibilities + Work closely with project owners to ensure project completion is on time and meets standards. + Manage submittals and documentation, handling 30% of submittals into the database. + Address 20% of Requests for Information (RFIs). + Participate in various meetings, including bids, general contractor meetings, and subcontractor discussions, making up 20% of the role. Essential Skills + 5+ years of Construction Management/Project Management experience. + If coming from a general contractor side, must have 10 years of Project Management experience. + 5+ years of experience with RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and project management specifically for vertical commercial construction. + Experience managing general contractors on vertical commercial construction projects and data centers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in managing commercial and data center construction projects is advantageous. Work Environment This position requires being on-site five days a week, working closely with the General Contractor. The initial 12-month project is based in Manassas, VA. Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent - Mission Critical Job Description: The Assistant Superintendent (Assistant Supt.) supports managing work flow consistent with the project schedule, communicates project priorities to field staff and subcontractors, maintains daily log/report of all activities and site conditions, and manages the punch list and closeout process through owner/architect acceptance. The Assistant Supt. understands and administers the HITT safety program to include all subcontractors, ensures that all accidents/incidents are promptly reported and investigated, and assists in safety inspection by outside agencies.
