Job DescriptionSalary: HCDE Salary Scale We have hired all positions for the 25-26 school year, but will receive applications for future hiring opportunities. We are seeking teachers with experience in classical and outdoor education integration, or who are willing to be trained and fully adapt to both. For budget purposes, teachers with 4 to 9 years of experience would fit best, but all applicants will be considered. Each year, we seek to fill available positions in the winter of the previous year, at which time we will begin teacher trainings one evening a month, although the employment period will not begin until August 1, 2025. Eight days of paid, mandatory professional development will take place during the previous summer. Skillern Elementary is a tuition-free, public, charter school. Salary and benefits are commensurate with nearby county schools, and we do provide potential for performance bonuses.
