Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
Industry related training is preferred
Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

What you will be doing
As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring building equipment for safety purposes and repairs. Troubleshooting refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical problems, performing repairs, documenting solutions, and making recommendations for further action.
Main Responsibilities
Make daily mechanical checks on equipment in the Mechanical Room, Roof, HVAC, EMS systems, refrigerated cases, and walk-ins. etc.
Maintain all refrigeration, HVAC, EMS systems, electrical, and mechanical systems, and make necessary repairs.
Performs preventative maintenance tasks, leak checks, inspections, and new equipment installations. Will record required information and maintain compliance forms and all other documentation in both paper form at the store and electronic in Corrigo and Refrigerant tracking System, based on the specific task.
Monitors preventive maintenance and construction project work done by outside contractors and notifies Area Refrigeration Manager of issues or problems with outside contractors.
Responsible for troubleshooting refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical problems, performing repairs, documenting solutions, and recommending further action.
Maintains a high technical level in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Manage communications for service calls: Ensure timely responses as required.
Maintain current license, inspection, permit, and certificate requirements to meet all state and local codes.
Operates EMS building controls and automation systems: Fine-tune operating parameters, adjust set points and schedules, fully understand and modify building control sequences, and operate the EMS/BMS systems.

Pay Transparency:

Upon initial set up of the machine, run the product through the machine to test and verify that output meets production standards.

Encourage and model effective working relations with employees, the production areas and functional support departments to ensure timely communication and effective execution.

Who You are:
A hands-on, mechanically skilled individual who excels at servicing, repairing, and fabricating equipment and structural components within ready-mix concrete plants and crushing facilities. This person is comfortable working in an industrial environment and has a solid understanding of plant operations, mechanical systems, and fabrication techniques.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosing malfunctions and necessary repairs.
Performs maintenance and repair on plants.
Disassembles, constructs and assembles plants, buildings and crushing facilities as necessary.
Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance as necessary or as directed.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Must be able to fabricate and make repairs as necessary.
At supervisor's direction, is responsible for ordering/or notifying designated person of parts needed to complete maintenance project.
Restrictions:
Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 100 pounds as required throughout the workday.
Bending, squatting, reaching and standing for long periods of time.
Ability to grasp, discern color, be capable of using tools and equipment properly.
Must be able to maneuver in and around facilities safely.
Must be able to climb ladders when necessary (working at heights is inevitable).
Must be able to work in varied weather conditions, as much of the work is performed outside in the elements.
Must be able to work long and flexible hours as necessary as well as nights and/or weekends if a situation arises that requires immediate attention.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Troubleshoot and replace defective electrical apparatus, such as switches, relays, motors and electrical and electronic components of machinery equipment. (Preferred Skill)
Must have good communication skills.
Must have basic electric wiring understanding to trouble shoot and repair (and know when to call in an electrician).
Must be able to weld and fabricate.
Must be able to adhere to a very strict safety policy while performing work (such as lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection and other applicable safety requirements).
Must organize and prioritize work efficiently.
Must be able to maintain composure through stressful situations and when under time constraints.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work alone if necessary.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years related experience
Education:
High school education or equivalent combined with a minimum of 5 year of related plant maintenance experience.
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
Valid Driver's License

The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports general building maintenance duties to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and efficient. The role requires ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - working both independently and as part of a team - and handle competing priorities.
Pay Range (DOE):
$52,000 - $73,000 Annually

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform general building maintenance (lighting, ceiling tiles, basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs).
Assist with equipment/office installation and moves; address leaks/clogs.
Execute building improvements (cleaning, painting, floor maintenance, safety upgrades).
Carry out general construction tasks for internal projects (drywall, mud/tape, adjusting doors or flooring).
Perform preventive maintenance on building systems-HVAC, humidifiers, safety equipment, air filters.
Handle moving equipment, chemicals, trash; perform regular facilities and EHS checks (daily/weekly/monthly).
Coordinate with outside vendors for repair/maintenance of equipment.

Good interpersonal skills; ability to follow safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions.
Comfortable using standard hand and power tools. HVAC / refrigeration license or knowledge of HVAC control systems is a plus.
Familiarity with EHS programs and 5S / Lean concepts (Standardize, Sort, Straighten, Shine, Sustain) is beneficial.
