About the Role As a Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance at Picoma, a division of Zekelman Industries, located in Cambridge, OH, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Conduct predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on all instrumentation and controls equipment. Actively support Operational Excellence and Asset Management and Reliability programs. Be an active participant in routine and shutdown/turnaround facility maintenance. Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and optimize plant process control equipment such as control valves, transmitters, gas flow meters. Organize and/or conduct daily instrumentation activities. Be an active participant in Certarus MOC process. Order parts create work orders, and capture equipment history in company CMMS. Participate in Environment, Health and Safety programs. Work with a variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force and chemical composition. Consult manufacturers' manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures. Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation, diagnose faults and tubing. Diagnose and repair PLC issues and malfunctions. Requirements: Minimum of 4-5 years of electrical or instrumentation experience. Must have knowledge and the ability to read and interpret all information found within electrical, mechanical blueprints and diagrams. Proficiency with a variety of I/E hand tools meters, instrument calibration equipment etc. Ability to trouble shoot complex electrical control systems and to maintain instrumentation systems. Journeyman instrumentation or electrician certification is an asset. Clean driving record with the ability to travel extensively within the Southern/Central US regions (60 - 80%.) Will perform leak detection and repair (LDAR). Will perform a variety of applicable data collection and evaluation techniques. Develops and maintains records.
