Education and Experience * The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a pharmacy technician training program approved by the State of Indiana. Current certification through the State of Indiana is required. Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) must be acquired within one year of licensure with the State of Indiana. A minimum of one year experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail environment with duties to have included new prescription processing, POS and insurance verification is preferred.
