Job Description
The EverClean Field Technician is responsible for tendering and piloting Greensea IQ's Hull Service Robot (HSR) in a safe and efficient manner. The candidate should be competent in the maintenance and repair of all electronic, electrical, mechanical, and sub-systems associated with the vehicle. This includes component repair, replacement, and troubleshooting. The majority of operations will take place at major ports and harbors around the country and will require a significant amount of traveling. This includes driving a control van that is specially outfitted for the vehicles. The EverClean Field Technician will report directly to the EverClean Field Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Piloting and tendering remote vehicles.
Participate in familiarization and debriefing sessions prior to mobilization/demobilization.
Carry out Preventive Maintenance on vehicles per Greensea IQ's planned maintenance plan.
Evaluate system maintenance schedules and advise the Supervisor of any technical matters, needs, and upgrades.
Establish and maintain parts and supplies associated with all electrical and electronic devices.
Maintains parts and supplies inventory associated with all systems.
Assist in the post-processing of all data collected during operation to build out field reports.
Ensure that internal/external Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality requirements are adhered to at all times.
Assist the engineering department with testing and data collection at our test facility in Cape Canaveral, FL.
All other responsibilities as reasonably assigned.
Requirements
Possess High School Diploma or GED.
Qualified and Experienced in ROV Operations as a Technician (1+ Years).
Qualified in Electrical and Mechanical or relevant discipline.
Proven track record in ROV operations.
Working knowledge of the Maritime Industry.
Strong computer skills including experience in Linux and Windows.
Will require assisting in driving the operations van for 6+ hours to different job locations
Willing to travel for 5+ days at a time.
The ability to work weekends, and ther occasional overnights and holidays.
Must have a valid driver's license and submit a driving record for the past three years.
Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card).
Must be able to obtain security clearance.
Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing jobs depending on job requirements.
The ability to work successfully as a team member. Must be easygoing, hardworking, have great communication skills, willing and able to work with clients, and field crews.

Site surveys will require accessing MDUs and documenting information about the building that will determine build requirements. The installations will involve mounting rooftop radio antennas, running Ethernet and coax cables, and installing and turning up telecommunications equipment at various MDU locations. Safety training will be provided and required for the job.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed site surveys to access building physical layout, condition, cable type and line of site from MDU to serving wireless donor (tower or building).
Evaluate structural integrity and suitability for installing telecommunications equipment and associated cabling.
Collect and document all survey information for communication and direction with engineering team.
Ensure all materials and tools are inventoried and prepared for each installation job.
Installation of wireless radio equipment on roof tops along with associated cabling will be required. Access will be with ladders, mechanical lifts, or via roof top hatches or doors depending on the MDU type.
Installation of telecommunications equipment inside MDU communications rooms may require wall mounted backboards as well as wall mounted equipment and associated cabling.
Use of construction tools such as ladders, saws, drills, cable crimpers, and other hand tools will be required as well as use of a company provided laptop computer and signal testing devices.
After the installation of all equipment and cabling, antenna alignment and signal testing will be required with test equipment and laptop computer.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during on-site activities.
Maintain clear, effective, and professional communication with property managers, tenants, and internal teams.
This position requires daily travel to the job sites with a company-provided vehicle.

Safety Operators also serve as Technology Ambassadors, helping riders understand autonomous vehicle technology and the MiCa service in partnership with the City of Boca Raton, Circuit, and Guident.

Required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 3 years of safe driving experience
Demonstrated comfort and proficiency with computer-based systems, including:
Starting and shutting down computer-based systems
Navigating software interfaces
Following technical checklists and procedures
Comfortable using handheld controllers, simulators, or similar control systems
Strong situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
Clear communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor
Comfortable engaging with the public in a visible, city-facing role
Willingness to complete paid training, evaluation, and certification
Availability to support operations between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM
Ability to work four (4)-hour shifts within the operating window
Ability to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Must meet vehicle height and weight requirements per manufacturer specifications

Your role in our success:

What you'll be working on:
Identify training needs, research and create new training materials related to operations, compliance, safety, and quality.
Conduct instructor-led operations, safety-related training, and operator qualification training and evaluations per Federal requirements (OSHA, DOT, PHMSA, etc.) for employees and contractors.
Develop and revise training materials to ensure materials are current and follow company policies and procedures and meet regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate training records in coordination with the Training Coordinators.
Monitors and tracks operator qualification expirations to ensure qualifications are current.
Evaluate student performance and evaluate the effectiveness of the training.
Provides technical assistance to the operating divisions and appropriate outside agencies.

Who you are:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred or alternative experience approved by the business unit's Vice President
4+ years of experience in the gas industry with a strong background in operations required
2+ years of experience in coaching, training, or education preferred.
Standard driver's license
Knowledge of gas operations, including construction, maintenance, distribution, and transmission systems.
Knowledge of principles, methods and techniques used for adult education.
Experience in training, mentoring, or instructing, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
