Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes or hoists Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work Record production, repair and machine maintenance information (Excel, E-Maint) Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts or equipment (with machine operators and/or engineering) Work closely with Inspection Supervisor to understand when production orders are due Continually monitor reject rate percentage and empty nest and react accordingly for over and under calling specific features Determine if the vision machine has issues or if the parts coming from molding are defective Train new vision machine operators and work with Inspection Supervisor to determine performance OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to understand and communicate with and through drawings Speak to others to convey information effectively (via verbal or email communication) Ability to troubleshoot and use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems Use problem-solving and root-cause analysis Maintain facility and make repairs as needed Experience with various hand tools including but not limited to saws, drills and reamers Ability to drive a forklift and maintain a valid certification MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent Three years of experience with maintenance in a manufacturing environment A valid driver license with a clean driving record Ability to be on-call and work overtime as needed Electrical PLC/control panel experience preferred Excellent “can-do” attitude with ability to work well with a team or independently with various degrees of supervision Benefits include Medical, dental, and vision insurance plus a 401K.
