POSITION OVERVIEW The Automation Technician I supports the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of control systems, acting as a key interface between electrical construction teams and controls engineers. They work more independently on routine tasks and begin to lead small portions of projects. The Engineers will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by the people out in the field. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the different assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole. Job Description Under the leadership of the Director, Nursing, the Monitor Technician is an active member of the department that collects data, provides comfort measures and basic care to patients. The Monitor Technician collects data, enters laboratory and radiology requests into the computer systems, performs basic patient care under direct nurse supervision and performs unit secretary duties within the ICU Department. The Technician monitors the cardiac display/scopes, records, detects and reports the abnormal rhythms to the RN's caring for the patients. The Monitor Technician may also function as a Patient Care Technician. Basic Qualifications: · Education: Requires a high school diploma in General Studies or a GED state certification. Requires the completion of a basic arrhythmia course within six months of hire. · Experience: Requires up to one year of work-related experience and on-the-job training or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. · Licensure, Registrations & Certifications: No certification required for this position.
