Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
Industry related training is preferred
Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

Assists with the development of training plans and materials for court-related technology systems, including the District, Probate and Circuit Court recording systems installed in courtrooms and hearing rooms. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Coordinates with judicial offices and hearing rooms to ensure that required maintenance of hardware and software components for the digital recording systems is scheduled to ensure operational integrity as required;
Serves as a member of the court technology team that is available to assist the judicial offices in responding to time sensitive requests by deliberating juries for playback of selected trail proceedings during jury deliberations;
Serves as a member of the court technology team that responds to requests to view or purchase archived recordings of court proceedings;
Archives digital court recordings to be in compliance with applicable statutes and court rules;

Verifies the completion and accuracy of several automated system tasks including electronic workflow [Onbase] and other proprietary systems utilized by the court.
Facilitates distance learning connectivity for judicial and court staff.
Repairs, upgrades, and installs computer hardware within authorized guidelines.
Provides support and maintenance associated with court case management systems and end user requirements.
Works closely with both technical and non-technical staff to resolve, document and support a variety of issues and service.
Assists the administrative staff for all of the courts in developing and improving automations for systems management.
Assists the Courts in strategic planning for the implementation of e-filing, e-storage and other system upgrades for the future court environment.

The Ballpark Operations Technician is responsible for providing operational support, performing daily mechanical maintenance, and coordinating repairs and upkeep of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other facility equipment at Comerica Park. The role ensures the facility operates efficiently and safely while adhering to applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC units, plumbing systems, and other facility equipment.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics to determine the scope and requirements of mechanical maintenance tasks.
3. Complete mechanical service requests, including repairs to HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, pumps, and motors, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
4. Participate in on-call emergency rotation to address urgent mechanical system issues.
5. Operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and other mechanical infrastructure.
6. Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of mechanical tools, equipment, and supplies in accordance with current building and safety codes.
7. Document all maintenance activities and repairs using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
8. Collaborate with contractors working on mechanical systems, providing input to ensure seamless integration with day-to-day operations.
9. Maintain mechanical rooms, workshops, and storage areas in excellent working condition.
10. Adhere to OSHA and other applicable safety codes while performing all mechanical maintenance tasks.
11. Implement operational techniques to improve the efficiency of mechanical systems and ensure compliance with all relevant codes.
12. Report irregularities, discrepancies, equipment damage, or safety concerns promptly, following established reporting procedures.
13. Ensure proper stocking and inventory of mechanical supplies and spare parts in supply rooms.
14. Conduct full-building quality assurance checks with third-party maintenance supervisors to prioritize tasks and communicate findings to management.

2. While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle tools and equipment; reach with hands and arms; and communicate effectively. The colleague frequently climbs ladders or balances on elevated platforms. The colleague occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The colleague must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2. Minimum five (5) years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
3. Prefer one (1) year of experience in a mechanical maintenance capacity within a multi-purpose facility servicing major exhibitions, entertainment, or events.
4. Working knowledge and operation of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts, or skid loaders).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Customer service-oriented with a professional and neat appearance at all times.
2. Proactive awareness of the work environment, addressing cleanliness by picking up trash, wrappers, or debris to maintain a tidy facility.
3. Full-time position requiring flexible scheduling, including possible first, second, and third shift rotations.
4. Enjoys helping others and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
5. Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively under stress.
