ABOUT THE ROLE:
Tellers are empowered to serve our clients and exceed their expectations through service delivery excellence. Primarily responsible for client service and support by handling financial transactions for lobby and/or drive-up clients in a professional manner. Provide clients with a clear understanding of the technical aspects and benefits of products and services offered to support our client's financial wellness goals. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Perform teller transactions accurately and efficiently and maintain a balanced cash drawer while adhering to cash limits and discrepancy procedures.
Support and adhere to policies and procedures around information security, client identification, cash handling check cashing, and physical security procedures; understand and apply regulatory and compliance training.
Serve as the face of Alerus, providing exemplary client service, for every client every time.
Acknowledge and immediately address client requests and issues.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. Accuracy in handling, maintaining and monitoring cash drawer.

Monitor and verify internal control processes and procedures relating to the Teller area.
Open and follow safe deposit box procedures.
Customer problem resolution.
Branch capture duties.

Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
