Job overview:
The Product Technical Support Specialist will provide global support in technical answers/advice to assist customers with product problem resolution and application assistance on one or more of the following product lines: Industrial Diaphragm pumps, Piston pumps, Electric Pumps, Pneumatic Valves, Pneumatic Cylinders, Pneumatic Logic, Air Filters, Air Regulators and Air Lubricators. * Manage customer problem resolution at the field level and coordinate product replacement or repair, including submittal requests for additional assistance when required via Quality Management System.
* Offer product support to Marketing, Product Management, and Sales teams, including the review and proofreading of product catalogs and literature.
* Represent Technical Support and input on new product development teams, including product serviceability, quality, and reliability issues.

POLYWOOD is looking for team members to join our Extrusion Department, where we create the HDPE lumber that fuels our entire production process. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands on work, values precision, and wants to grow technical skills while contributing to a safe, supportive, and high performing manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Operate and monitor extrusion equipment, including a 14-foot screw that melts HDPE plastic pellets, color chips, recycled plastic pellets, and regrind at 350 degrees.
Ensure proper pressurization of the melted material into the die to achieve the required shape and size.
Manage the cooling process by guiding the extruded lumber through 100 feet of water.
Oversee automatic saw operation to cut lumber to the correct length.
Inspect and stack lumber on wood skids for transport to production.
Maintain accurate production records by counting, weighing, and logging units of lumber and scrap on daily production sheets.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark relevant information on containers.
Build and repair skids to ensure proper storage and transport.
Operate industrial trucks to assist with loading and moving materials and products.
Perform routine maintenance and keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Replace fuel containers in power lift trucks as needed.
Complete end-of-shift duties and ensure readiness for the next production cycle.

Description
HELP BUILD PRODUCTS THAT ARE STRONG, SUSTAINABLE, AND BUILT TO LAST.
POLYWOOD is looking for team members to join our Extrusion Department, where we create the HDPE lumber that fuels our entire production process. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands on work, values precision, and wants to grow technical skills while contributing to a safe, supportive, and high performing manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
• Operate and monitor extrusion equipment, including a 14 foot screw that melts HDPE plastic pellets, color chips, regrind, and recycled materials at 350 degrees
• Ensure proper pressurization of melted material into dies to achieve accurate shape and size
• Guide extruded lumber through 100 feet of water to complete the cooling process
• Oversee automated saw operations to cut lumber to correct lengths
• Inspect and stack materials on wood skids for transportation into production
• Record daily output by weighing, counting, and logging lumber and scrap
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and maintain proper documentation
• Build and repair skids to support safe storage and movement of materials
• Operate industrial trucks to load, transport, and organize materials
• Perform routine equipment checks and keep work areas clean and organized
• Replace fuel containers in power lift trucks as needed
• Complete end of shift tasks and prepare the area for the next production cycle

What You Bring:
• Experience in extrusion, CNC machining, sawmill operation, or other manufacturing roles
• Ability to operate tools such as calipers, CNC equipment, extruders, and saws
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality materials
• Knowledge of safety best practices and willingness to follow all safety procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and adapt in a fast paced environment
• Dependability, consistent attendance, and a strong work ethic
• Professionalism, teamwork, and respect for others
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving
