The Technical Trainer is the primary instructor/trainer on Habasit belting products and end user applications which use Habasit belting products. This role has the main responsibility for planning the training curriculum and instructing new and tenured customer care representatives and sales associates. The Technical Trainer shall also monitor and measure outcomes and effectiveness of his/her training initiatives; and improve learning solutions to better reach targeted results when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Responsible for Habasit belting product training and customer applications training
Provides an engaging instructional experience utilizing effective training methodologies, techniques, concepts, tools and practices, and which aims full retention of information presented during training sessions.
Responsible for curating existing training materials and for development of new/improved content when existing content is not available
Responsible for grading and training record management of trainees
Responsible for identifying training needs and trainee needs commensurate with business objectives, position requirements, and consulting with management when applicable.
Assists with implementation, facilitation and maintenance of e-learning initiatives related to product training.
Must be available for both in person (live) and virtual training situations
Secondary responsibility, as time permits, to lead the development and instruction on Habasit products for customer education/marketing purposes
Responsible for operating within budgetary requirements
Any other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Manage the day-to-day operations within the primary area of responsibility over scheduling/staffing, managing daily budgeted hours, and limiting overtime of the operation.
Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
Implement safety plan for station
Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary
Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary.
Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
Train/retrain all personnel in airline procedures, safety procedures, and company policies.
Maintain good employee relations. Handle employee problems in an efficient and effective manner.
Client Relations -- Effectively communicate with senior airline management and project a positive image in responding to inquiries from airlines, staff and the public.
Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives.
Monitor employee activity and makes adjustments as needed.
Handle Off Schedule Operations when Manager is not available.
Perform other duties as requested.
REQUIREMENTS:
Motivated leaders who are willing to roll-up their sleeves and work alongside the employees
1 year or more of Supervisory experience preferred.
Operations or Airline experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, data entry skills
Flexibility, multitasking and experience working in a changing environment
Stratfield is seeking a Technical Writer/Trainer to join our client as they stand up a new distribution center that will utilize advanced automation equipment integrated with their Manhattan Warehouse solution. This individual will create clear, easy-to-follow documentation, SOPs, skills matrices, and training curriculum for the new distribution center and participate in training programs.
Experience with industrial automation and Integrated Work Systems (IWS) is highly desired. Candidates who have set up training programs within manufacturing environments will stand out.
This is a 6-month contract position that will be mostly remote, with occasional onsite work and minimal travel. Preferred location: Atlanta. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities:
Write and update SOPs and training curriculum for systems within the distribution center.
Maintain documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with client standards.
Develop and participate in training programs for new team members.
Capture and preserve expert knowledge from experienced team members.
Update documentation for new automation systems and features.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Journalism, or related field.
Technical writing experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Training experience within a manufacturing environment is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, IWS, or similar methods highly preferred.
Understanding of automation systems is desired.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical writing tools.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively seek information.
Willingness to travel if necessary.

Primary Objectives:
To oversee the sports medicine department at Whitefield Academy
Key Responsibilities:
Cover all athletic events and practices throughout the year

Qualifications:
