For more information, please visit us at ************************* POSITION SUMMARY: The Art Therapist is responsible for the provision of Art Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic activity interventions and discharge planning. The therapist utilizes individual and/or group interventions to bring about positive changes in the patient's behavior, be-it cognitive, social, emotional, or physical. The therapist educates the patient in healthy coping skills, and available resources to continue the client in post-discharge planning and involvement.
