University Of Suwon company history timeline

1971

Later, the Korea University Foundation acquired Woosuk University in 1971, thus incorporating its College of Medicine and affiliated hospital.

1980

In 1980, the Sejong Campus was constructed in Seochang-ri, Jochiwon-eup, Yeongi-county, South Chungcheong Province (Sejong Special Autonomous City today), reflecting the continued advancement of the University.

2005

Ushering in the centennial anniversary in 2005 brought momentum to Korea University to transform itself from a leading domestic university to a globally prominent one.

2009

Won “The Company of Korea 2009” Grand Prize in social contribution sector

2010

Won “The Company of Korea 2010” Grand Prize in social contribution sector

2011

Won “The Korea Consumer Trust Company Award 2011” Grand Prize in social contribution sector

2014

14 Start-up Childcare Center chosen as the Start-up Academy Institute by the Small Companies Association in 2014

2018

29 Won the Top Prize in Volunteering at the 2018 Social Contribution Awards
