GRAPHIC DESIGNER
The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. We are located in a growing community with a passion to reach our cities with the gospel. This has created a need for a Graphic Designer who will think proactively, inventively, and collaboratively to develop content that reaches and disciples others.
This role is flexible at 15 hours per week or more, depending on the candidate's experience and availability. The position will begin as a six-month contract from January through June, with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for three key areas:
Designing - Completing design projects from conception to completion.
Resourcing - Resourcing our teams with creative assets and templates.
Editing - Replicating The Bridge photography guide by editing weekly service and event photos.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong and growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ

Minimum five years of experience as a high capacity Graphic Designer and minimum one year in photography
Detail-oriented, consistently reviewing basic edits of designs, having ownership mentality
Strong time management, and ability to get final projects in by due date
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and design various materials for print, digital, services, social media, and other marketing outlets that captures the style of The Bridge and helps spread the Gospel message.
Execute creative direction for the church as well as brand guidelines while working to protect them across departments and projects.
Build templates that equip staff to execute creative projects independently with excellence.
Anticipate content needs for upcoming services, events, or goals of the church while brainstorming creative ways to cast the vision and message of The Bridge.
Editing photos from various weekend services and events, and uploading them in a timely fashion.

We are currently searching for an experienced East Gulf Alternative Delivery Roadway Design Lead to support transportation design projects in our Gulf Region. Located in Alabama or Tennessee OR willing to relocate to one of our offices in either state.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, 20 years experience.
What you'll be doing:
Serve as a hands-on, project based, Roadway Lead for our East Gulf projects providing roadway discipline leadership, technical expertise, and roadway design production oversight
Prepare roadway plan set components including plan, profile, cross section, and detail sheets
Prepare specification packages
Calculate quantities and prepare construction cost estimates
Coordinate with clients and sub-consultants
Develop and mentor roadway staff
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines in a team environment
What you need to have:
Licensed PE (Alabama and/or Tennessee preferred)
20+/- years experience
Experience with DOT's on Major Highway and Interstate projects
Alternative Delivery design experience required
Competent with MicroStation
OpenRoad Design experience preferred
Leadership and Team Building experience

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Minimum of One (1) year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
Degree in Design is a plus
Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
Proficient in basic mathematical skills
Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position
Essential Functions
Greet store customers in a helpful manner and supports store design walk-in needs
Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store
Providing tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.
Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions
Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with a high level of accuracy, timeliness and follow-up including consistent and concise communication to customers and others. Proficient and consistent use of company communication tools and emails are required
Collaborate, partner and communicate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation, and achieve sales and other goals
Enthusiastically support all company initiatives and goals by modeling and coaching best practices with store employees
Engage in current and emerging design trends in your market
Responsible for understanding and utilizing design applications i.e.; Salesforce, proprietary Online Design Appointment Scheduler, MyProject
