The department also offers graduate certificates in Information Systems, Cyber Security Management, and Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. The faculty supporting these programs consists of an Eminent Scholar and fifteen additional tenure track faculty, five lecturers, two professors of practice, and one person dedicated to the professional development of business analytics and management information systems students. **Qualifications:** Applicants must possess a doctorate from an AACSB -accredited institution in Information Systems, Management Science, Business Analytics, Operations Management or a closely related field when employment begins. The position calls for an enthusiastic and committed educator to handle a 4/4 courseload, primarily focused on composition studies, rhetoric, and writing. A PhD in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or a related field is required. Candidates must have prior teaching experience. The position of Lecturer or Assistant Professor of Nursing is a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position in the School of Nursing within the College of Education and Health Professions. The start date for this position is January 2026.
Responsibilities
Significant Duties & Responsibilities include: Teaching undergraduate medical-surgical nursing courses, face-to-face and online; mentoring students; working collaboratively with area clinical and hospital staff; performing service and administrative tasks necessary to ensure excellence in nursing education at Columbus State University; and participating in scholarly activity. The School of Nursing at Columbus State University enrolls a diverse body of over 800 students. It offers a traditional BSN for students seeking an RN license and three online degree programs: an RN-BSN for licensed RNs with an Associate degree; a Master's of Science in Nursing (education, leadership, and information tracks); and a Master's of Science in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner. Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications include: A Master's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university is required.
