Does AAA drug test?

AAA typically uses a 10-panel urine drug test that looks for the presence of amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, PCP, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, and methamphetamine. The testing is done off-site by a third-party testing company and the results take anywhere between 1 to 5 days. They also have an alcohol test that is done on-site and provide immediate results.

Consistent with this AAA has a strict no-drug policy as evident in their use of drug testing and as discussed in their code of conduct.

Performing your job while impaired by substances puts everyone with whom you interact at

risk. That is why we prohibit employees from working under the influence of alcohol or drugs

- including misused prescription or over-the-counter medications. In addition, you may never

possess, transfer or sell illegal drugs or alcohol while on AAA premises. For more information,

AAA is also a tobacco-free company and this includes the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations while in or around the company building or while inside a company vehicle.
