Does Ericsson drug test?
Yes, Ericsson does perform drug tests. Ericsson requires all employees to submit to a five-panel urine drug test as a condition of hiring.
Ericsson also requires that employees participate in randomized drug testing throughout employment. This is due to the nature of many of the positions, which require that the employee is clear-headed in order to perform safely.
Additionally, Ericsson will conduct "for cause" drug tests. These typically occur if an employee is involved in a work-related accident or incident, or if an employee comes into work visibility under the influence.
A positive result on a drug test is considered grounds for termination.
