Does Ericsson hire felons?
No, Ericsson does not typically hire felons. While Ericsson does not ask about criminal record during its application process, the company do perform a thorough background check before hiring, and it does not generally hire a person with a prior felony.
It is possible to be hired at Ericsson with a felony; however, this will depend on a variety of circumstances. If your felony is more than seven years old and has fallen off your record, it will not get flagged in the background check and will therefore give an opportunity for a person to be hired.
Additionally, if an individual brings up their record during the interview process, the hiring manager may choose to hire them anyway. This is decided on a case-by-case basis, but if a felony will not compromise a person's ability to do the job effectively, some hiring managers are willing to give a former felon a chance.
