Does Journeys drug test?

No, Journeys does not drug test potential hires, nor does it randomly drug test current employees. However, the company does reserve the right to request a drug screen of current employees in any of the following scenarios:

When they are suspected of being intoxicated at work
When they are involved in a workplace accident
When they experience a work-related injury

In any of these instances, a failed drug test can result in disciplinary action, including termination, and possible criminal prosecution, if the employee has endangered the lives of their co-workers. It is unclear what type of drug test the company uses in these situations as it is a process that is completed by a third-party drug testing lab.
