Does Kelly Services drug test?
Yes, Kelly Services drug tests its employees. The company provides staffing solutions for other companies and requires its staff to adhere to the testing requirements of those companies.
A pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required of anyone working for Kelly Services. Alcohol tests must register below .02 for the candidate to be considered for employment. Tests registering .02 and above will require a confirmation test. If the result of that test is also above the limit line, the candidate will no longer be considered for employment.
Drug testing at Kelly is conducted similarly as is their alcohol testing. Candidates or employees testing positive will be required to submit to confirmation testing. These tests will be conducted using the GC-MS method yielding a very high level of accuracy. Candidates will also be able to work with the company's medical review officer to disclose any prescribed medications that could impact test results.
There are multiple occasions for which employees of Kelly Services may be required to submit to a drug test. In addition to pre-employment testing, workers can be required to test for reasonable cause, after a work-related incident, randomly, or periodically.
