Yes, Redner's drug tests. Redner's is a supermarket chain that has a strict no-drug policy. They test all candidates, on-site, during the interview process. It is a mouth-swab drug test and the results are immediate.
Redner's uses an 8-panel mouth-swab test that looks for marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and methadone. They test candidates across all positions as part of the hiring process. They don't make expectations for marijuana regardless of whether you live in a state where it is legalized or if you have a medical card.
Redner's also have the right to drug test any employee, once hired, as they see fit. They only do so, however, if they have reason to suspect that an employee is showing up to work intoxicated. This means you don't have to worry about being tested once our hired unless you are a truck driver.
Redner's also does not have an explicit policy regarding the use of tobacco products. But prohibits the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations while inside the store.
