Yes, Schneider drug tests.Schneider is a transportation and logistics company that offers trucking and intermodal services. They require a pre-employment drug test, as well as routine employee testing to ensure safety on the roads and comply with federal regulations set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
For most positions, candidates will be asked to take a hair follicle test, conducted by a third-party testing facility. The test looks for the presence of amphetamines (including methamphetamine), THC (cannabinoids, marijuana), cocaine, opiates (including heroin, morphine, and codeine), PCP (phencyclidine), barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and methadone.
For truck drivers, Schneider performs a hair follicle drug screen and a DOT-mandated urine analysis. They require truck drivers to also submit to random urine drug testing once employed.
Schneder also has a strict no-smoking policy, which includes the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations while inside the company building or inside any company truck or vehicle. Employees are allowed to smoke in designated areas outside of the building.
