Does Seaworld drug test?

SeaWorld's Code of Conduct and Code of Business and Ethics, however, do not mention drug policies or drug testing. However, they do state that employees shouldn't "engage in any illegal or improper activity," which includes the use of illegal substances while employed.

SeaWorld typically uses mouth swabs or urine drug tests. Hair tests are sometimes performed but it's extremely rare. The test is done off-site by a third-party testing center and the results take between 1 to 3 days to process.

Seaworld typically uses a 9-panel drug test that looks for the presence of:

• Opiates
• Benzodiazepines
• Barbiturate
• Methamphetamine
• Phencyclidine
• Methadone
• Cocaine
• Amphetamine
• Marijuana

Seaworld is a tobacco-free company and this includes the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations in or around the theme park unless in designated employee smoking areas. These areas only allow the use of vapes and not regular cigarettes.
