Does Smiths drug test?
Yes, Smith's drug tests. However, they only drug test for certain positions, such as pharmacy technician or warehouse and trucking positions. If you're applying for positions such as deli or grocery clerk then it's unlikely that you will be asked to take a drug test during the hiring process.
When used, Smith's does a standard 5-panel urine test that looks for alcohol, amphetamines, opioids, cocaine, benzodiazepines, and barbiturates. The testing is done by a third-party testing center and the results take between 3 to 5 business days to process.
