Yes, Swift drug tests. Swift is a transportation company that specializes in trucking and delivery services across North America, and they drug test their employees to ensure a safe and productive work environment while complying with federal regulations.
All candidates are asked to provide both a hair and urine sample as a condition of the hiring process. Swift uses a 10-panel drug test that looks for amphetamines, including methamphetamines, as well as barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, marijuana, methadone, opiates, phencyclidine, and alcohol. The test is administered and processed on-site and the results are immediate.
The additional drug test for drivers sponsored by the DOT is a urine drug test that is processed off-site by a certified third-party testing facility. Drivers and those working with heavy machinery are subject to random drug tests.
