No, Tillys does not drug test. However, on their job application, it does ask if you are willing to submit to a drug test as part of the hiring process. From our research, however, it does not appear that Tillys goes through with it. They just want to know that you would be willing to.

Tillys is a retail clothing company that sells a variety of casual apparel and accessories for men, women, and children. Even if Tillys does not require a pre-employment drug test as a condition of employment, they do have a strict no-drug policy in place as evident in their employee code of conduct.

Tillys' Code of Conduct:

Drug and Alcohol Abuse. You are expected to help maintain a work environment that is free from drug and alcohol abuse. You may not use, possess, manufacture, or distribute illegal drugs on Tilly's property, whether owned or leased or in Tilly's vehicles. Misusing controlled substances or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs on the job is prohibited. Great care should be taken in serving alcohol at any Tilly's-sponsored events.

We expect our employees, when participating in functions at which alcohol is served, whether sponsored by Tilly's or by others, to use good judgment and to remember that, as employees of Tilly's, you represent our high values and standards. It is unacceptable for you to consume excessive amounts of alcoholic beverages at any event where you are representing Tilly's.

Tillys does not mention anything about their policy regarding the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations other than the fact that they can not be used while inside the store.
