Does Travelers drug test?

After a candidate has finished interviewing, the last step before the company extends a job offer is to ask the candidate to complete a drug test. The drug test is done at a third-party testing site and the results typically take 24 to 48 hours.

Once hired you are still not in the clear. Travelers will maintain the right to randomly drug test any of its employees. This will be a clause in your contract. This isn't a clause exclusive to Travelers as most companies add it in employee contracts even if they don't plan on using it.

If you are taking any prescription drug, you should let your interviewer know that you're on a prescription for one or more drugs that can show up as positive on a drug screen. They might ask for your doctor's contact info to verify this information.

Marijuana is a deal breaker at Travelers, this is true even if you live in a state that has legalized it or if you have a medical marijuana card. If you enjoy puffing the magic dragon, then Travelers might not be the job for you.

Travelers is a tobacco-free workplace and as such it prohibits its employees from the use of regular cigarettes, as well as chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, vapes, or any other variations while on company property, company vehicle, or at a client's home or place of business.
