Be prepared to discuss their creation of a Diversity Council that is made up of their senior leaders to ensure that they are making the company more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

This council has established policies and practices that are conducive to recruiting, retention, and development of a diverse organization. Explain that you admire the steps that are being taken towards advancement in the workplace and you would love to join them in their mission.

You should also include in your answer that you are aware of their employee communities and what communities you would like to join or what community you would like to see created/represented. Show them that you truly do believe in inclusion and equality and that you have given a lot of thought as to how you can help them continue to push their mission forward.
