Ibotta makes money via advertising services, affiliate marketing commissions, and the sale of user data to other businesses. As an affiliate marketer Ibotta earns a commission from other companies in several different ways:

• Pay-per-click (PPC)

  When a user visits the website of an Ibotta partner company through the Ibotta website or Ibotta app, it earns a small commission just for that user clicking the link to Ibotta's partner's website.

• Pay-per-sale (PPS)

  When a user purchases a product or service via an Ibotta partner, it earns a commission percentage of the sale.
