How long should a supervisor's resume be?

By Zippia Team - Apr. 20, 2022

A supervisor's resume should be between one to two pages. The general rule of thumb is that someone with under seven years of professional experience should limit their resume to 1 page. After that, with more experience, a two-page resume is more appropriate.

In writing a supervisor's resume, the key is to provide enough information to market yourself as a candidate while also inviting it by injecting enough white space. Too much text, especially fluff text, can lead to an automatic rejection before the hiring manager reads your resume.

Your supervisor resume should include the following sections:

  • Contact information

  • Profile summary or objective

  • Work experience

  • Education

  • Skills

  • Certifications (if applicable)

  • Additional activities, volunteer work, or awards (if relevant)
