You have to be at least 16 years old to work at Ace. Other than that, there are no specific requirements for working an entry-level position at an Ace Hardware store. There are many positions that do require you to be older, such as sales leads or management. Experience may also be necessary for many different positions.

Typically, entry-level positions at James Avery are cashiers or sales associates. While you can get these positions at 16, it is often easier if you are already. If you are over 18, you have a much higher chance of being hired because you are able to fulfill many more necessary duties and often have more experience.
