What are Amazon's work hours?

By Zippia Team - Oct. 25, 2022

Amazon's work hours depend on the department you work in and the job title you have at Amazon. Amazon warehouse employees have shifts of 10 hours with a 30-minute lunch break.

Here are some common shift times for Amazon warehouse workers:

  • 7am - 5:30pm

  • 7:30am - 6pm

  • 7pm - 5:30am

Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) employees work a day shift from 4:30 am - 3 pm and a night shift from 8:30 pm - 7 am.

Amazon drivers work 10-hour day shifts that begin at 5 am or 7 am, and 3:30 pm or 5:30 pm.

Night shifts are also 10 hours long and start between 6 pm and 8 pm, and end between 5 am and 7 am. Certain shifts for Amazon drivers have higher pay rates.

Amazon allows employees to make scheduling requests, but there is no guarantee they will be fulfilled.
