The dress code for Piedmont Healthcare varies by department and position. For buildings 2 through 4, including the CCU, progressive care unit, cardiovascular unit, ACU, Maternity, NICU, and nursery, observation, PAU, and ED, the dress code is:
RNs/LPNs are required to wear royal blue or white uniforms or any combination of these colors. A scrub jacket or white cotton sweater is allowed.
PCAs wear cranberry, burgundy, or plum uniforms. Scrub jackets or cotton sweaters are also permitted.
Unit secretaries wear khaki or black tops and bottoms or any combination of these colors.
Fleece jackets or pullovers are not permitted. Holiday jackets may be worn one week prior to the holiday.
The dress code for other positions is:
Respiratory therapy employees wear hunter green.
Non-invasive Cardiovascular services wear black scrubs.
Radiology employees can wear scrubs (in any color) or business casual attire.
Invasive cardiovascular lab attire is hospital green scrubs with a white lab coat.
Rehab employees wear black pants or scrubs with a colored top and a white lab jacket (if desired).
Environmental services staff wear lavender or grape-colored scrubs.
Dietary staff wears black pants with a white collared checkered shirt, purple collared shirt, and/or chef's coat.
Transporters wear blue shirts and navy pants.
Warehouse employees wear navy pants with a maroon Materials Management shirt.
Phlebotomists wear pink and gray scrubs.
Pharmacy staff wears navy scrubs with a white lab jacket.
Employees at the Laurel Park location are encouraged to wear a variety of colors. RNs/LPNs can wear shades of blue, green, or purple. PCAs can wear shades of red, pink, peach, or yellow.
