What is the hiring process at Compass Group?

After applying, you receive a phone call from Compass Group to set up your first interview. This is in-person with a hiring manager.

This interview goes over your previous experience and has many scenario-based questions involving customers.

Here are some possible questions for your Compass Group interview:

• How have you dealt with unhappy customers in previous jobs? Give specific examples.

• Have you ever held a leadership position?

• What knowledge do you possess about food and wine?

Compass Group has many different events and locations. Your interview may be tailored to a specific event or location, depending on the role you are seeking.

If you pass the interview phase, you must then fill out company paperwork and submit to a number of health tests.

The tests include a urine drug test, blood test, and tuberculosis test. Compass Group then performs a background check on you.

You then start a training period that can last between one to several weeks.
