Interview: If your skills seem to be a match for the role, you will be contacted to set up a phone interview with the corporate office to discuss the role in greater detail and ask any questions you have. If the recruitment team feels that you are a good fit, you will move on to the hiring manager interview.
The hiring manager interview is usually done over the phone and goes into more detail on the position you are interviewing for. This is the opportune time to ask questions and really find out if this is the right fit for you. Get a feel for the hiring manager's style and what the expectations are.
If the hiring manager wants to move forward, you will be brought in for an in-person panel interview. The panel interview usually takes place with the hiring manager and at least one attorney at the firm. Expect the interview to be very conversational in nature and focused on your legal thinking abilities.
