The hiring process at PricewaterhouseCoopers varies by position and usually takes several weeks from start to finish due to the drug testing and background checks that are required.
These are the basic steps to the hiring process at PricewaterhouseCoopers:
Application: Prospective employees are encouraged to review the PricewaterhouseCoopers careers webpage and get information on PricewaterhouseCoopers's business, culture, and available jobs.
Once an opportunity of interest has been identified, prospects are encouraged to apply via the PricewaterhouseCoopers career page. You will be prompted to create an online profile via Workday if you don't already have one. Once you have signed up, you will be able to submit your application.
After you have submitted your application, you will be able to update your profile, apply for jobs, and monitor your application status using the online portal./p>
Please note that a full COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment depending on the role and location of the job. If you have concerns, please discuss this with a member of the internal recruitment team.
Game-based assessment: Once your application is accepted by the recruiter, you will get an email invitation for game-based assessments. These games are designed to be a series of short challenges that measures several different skills and abilities in an interactive and stimulating way.
These assessments should take no more than 15 minutes. After the assessment, you will receive an insight report with feedback on your performance. Depending on the role you have applied for, you may be assigned additional online tests such as English language or technical tests.
Video Interview: After you submit your application and complete the assessments, you will be given the opportunity for a video interview. This gives you an opportunity to bring your application to life and stand out from the rest.
Think of the video interview as a live cover letter. You will be able to choose the time and place and you can arrange to respond to the questions at your own convenience.
You will receive an email invitation to the video interview portal which is fully mobile-adapted. The recruiter will ask you a few questions in a short video and with each question you will have time to prepare your answers. However, once you start answering, you will need to complete your answers within the time assigned to the question.
Assessment center: This is a full-day event consisting of 2 to 3 stages including group exercises, interviews, and additional exams. This is a great opportunity for you to show off a range of skills and your passion for the role.
Interview: At this stage, you will have a one-on-one interview with the hiring manager or their partner. They are looking for evidence of your skills, experience, and abilities. They also want to see that you have carefully considered your career choice.
Typical interview questions include:
"What are your strengths?"
"What would you do if you heard a coworker sharing confidential information?"
"Tell me about a time you have faced a challenge in the workplace."
"How do you keep up-to-date on business and industry trends?"
"How do you resolve conflict?"
Offer and Onboarding: If you are selected for the role, a member of the internal recruitment team will contact you to review the offer letter details, benefits, and more information on your new career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. You will also be given access to the PricewaterhouseCoopers employee portal.
Once you have accepted an offer, you will be asked to complete forms and start the pre-onboarding process. You will also be required to submit for a drug test and background check. The internal recruitment team member will provide you with more detailed information on how to complete these steps.
