Authentic Brands Group owns Reebok.

Reebok is an American fitness footwear and clothing manufacturer that was founded in England in 1958. The company started as a companion to J.W. Foster and Sons, a sporting goods company that started in 1895 in Bolton, Lancashire.

In 1979, an American businessman named Paul Fireman brokered a deal to license and distribute the Reeboks in the United States after seeing them at the National Sporting Goods of America Show in Chicago, Illinois.

Later that year, Fireman introduced three new shoes to the market and by 1981 the company reached $1.5 million in sales.

In 2005, following an intellectual property lawsuit, Adidas acquired Reebok as a subsidiary. This united two of the largest sports outfitting companies, but they maintained operations under separate brand names.

After struggling financially, Adidas announced plans to divest Reebok in 2021, and they were sold to Authentic Brands Group for $2.5 billion. The deal was finalized in March 2022.

Reebok is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts with regional offices in Amsterdam, Montreal, Hong Kong, and Mexico City. In 2021, Reebok had annual revenue of $2.3 billion with over 9,000 employees working for the company.
