How You Will Nurture Your Patients and Teammates
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and implement individualized treatment plans for all patients on your caseload.
Supervise, provide feedback and ensure adherence to Bloomwell's clinical quality standards for RBTs and any other support staff involved with patients at clinic.

Essential Functions

Team Collaboration:

Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree in applied behavior analysis.
Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to behavioral health, child development, or a similar area.
Certification:
Current certification as a Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst (BCBA).
Licensure:
All providers must obtain licensure as a Licensed BehaviorAnalyst (LBA) through the Minnesota Board of Psychology.

Position Overview
Role: Behavior Intervention Specialist
Location: Anoka, Minnesota
Full-time (37.5 paid hours per work)
Hours: Hours would vary slightly but 8:30-4:10 typically
The BIS will work with an additional BIS and SpEd Administrator
Support 4 Elementary Schools
Consult and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for the students
Conduct functional behavior assessments
Support the development and implementation of IEPs in accordance with district practice and state and federal requirements
Use flexible thinking and adaptability to address student needs and responds calmly during crisis situations, when necessary
May be required to use restrictive procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Minnesota teaching license in a Special Education field (Tier 3 or 4 required)
BCBAs will also be considered for this position
Background check and drug screening required
Experience teaching school-aged children with disabilities

Essential Functions
Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization. Ensures all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.

Provide training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality treatment services.
Supervise others with a focus on developing supervisees' independent clinical skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and fulfillment of certification requirements.
Collaborate with other clinicians and cross functional team members.
Complete all administrative tasks in a timely fashion, including but not limited to generating reports, completing insurance reviews, and completing forms to ensure appropriate funding for client services and staff management.
Requirements
Must be Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst or a state-licensed behavioranalyst and meet state specific requirements
At least one year of experience utilizing applied behavior analysis and providing behavior services to clients with autism in in-home and/or clinic-based settings
